What is it about?
Police officers have to decide how to protect victims at risk from repeated intimate partner violence. They use tools such as the Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment (ODARA) to help assess and manage risks. This study provides an update on how men charged with intimate partner violence in Canada score on the ODARA.

Why is it important?
Police officers and other professionals who assess risk can see how the population of men charged with intimate partner violence currently score on the ODARA, and use this information for assessing individuals' relative risk of repeated intimate partner violence.
