What is it about?

Synthesis, biological studies and conformational analysis of cyclic RGD peptides as integrin ligands targeting angiogenesis in cancer

Featured Image

Why is it important?

The development of bioactive RGD integrin ligands is an active field of research to deliver new molecular entities for targeted therapy in cancer. Such compounds are able to deliver conjugated drugs selectively to tumor cells overexpressing integrins.

Perspectives

Bioconjugation of the RGD cyclopeptide herein developed with drugs or chemical probes for applications in targeted therapy and molecular imaging.
