This paper shows 'perceived management commitment to internal marketing' to be very important. It also demonstrates that informal communication plays an important role in engaging employees, particularly in the hospitality (more specifically hotel) industry.


Management commitment has a great impact on organizational performance. However, it has to be seen and recognized by employees and customers. In this paper, we explored 'perceived management commitment to internal marketing' and demonstrated how it linked to employee work attitude through formal and informal internal communication.
