Why is it important?

Students react differently to capstone project. The scales can be utilized to understand our students. Advisers can counter the negative attitudes and can detect gender stereotyping in the context of capstone project development.

Perspectives

As a teacher-adviser, I need to ensure that the projects of the students will be completed in a specified time frame. Before the project starts, I need to ensure that team members have the right attitudes towards the completion of the project and I have to intervene whenever negative attitudes are set forth. Thus, this study can help educators to orient their research advisees on having the right attitudes towards capstone project development.
