About my research

Dr Islam Borinca is a social psychologist whose research focuses on intergroup relations, conflict, reconciliation, prosocial behaviour, collective action, and the psychological processes that shape responses to social and political issues. His work examines how perceptions of other groups, institutions, and society influence emotions, attitudes, and behaviour in contexts of conflict and social change. He has published widely in social and political psychology and has worked on research projects involving diverse intergroup contexts across Europe and beyond. His research interests also include the application of psychological science to questions of social cohesion, peacebuilding, and public policy.
