About my research
As the University Librarian at HKBU, I have overall responsibility for the Library's operations and strategic direction. My recent research has been into the support and application of AI tools by academic librarians. I am interested in how these tools can be effectively used to enhance effectiveness and productivity in a way that sustains and even enhances unique human contributions. Another area of interest is the role of academic libraries in supporting open access and open science.
