What is it about?
On-line prediction of information is an important part of simultaneous interpreting, but what triggers it? We have shown that by applying psycholinguistic methods of monolingual sentence processing to the investigation of prediction during simultaneous interpreting, it is possible to pinpoint the types of cues that lead to prediction and their relation to sentence structure.

Why is it important?
