What is it about?
Google Blogger is more convenient for libraries that are reeling under budgetary constraints. It provides numerous benefits i.e. there is no need for installation or a personalized server;needs electronic device with internet connection, web browser.

Why is it important?
There has been little attention given to the use of Google Blogger by librarians as a tool for creating websites for their libraries and allowing them to share library-based e-resources, valuable links, and information independently. Therefore, exploring how it can be optimally used to benefit libraries at a low cost is necessary to maximize its benefits.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to rare disease groups contacting me and ultimately to a greater involvement in rare disease research.
