What is it about?

This is a collection of papers about ASD that I edited. The quality is variable. Some chapters are particularly worth reading however. My own editorial commentary attempts to identify a route fro understanding genetics to providing the best environments for people with ASD.

Why is it important?

There are some interesting papers in here about the role of the built environment in autism work and a particular genetic issue.

Perspectives

I have written a foreword that puts forward a view of autism as a variant developmental pathway like those specified in Waddington's chreods.
