What is it about?

New methods in prenatal diagnosis of hemoglobinopathies has been developed by the discovery of cell- free fetal DNA in maternal circulation. Many fascinating clinical experiments such as noninvasive detection of fetal sex, fetal RhD status have been used which is the basis for the detection of paternal alleles in maternal plasma. HRM analysis is one of the technique for use in this field.
