Why is it important?

The umbilical site is frequent in patients with previous laparoscopic surgeries. But in patients without previous surgery is extremely rare, so we wanted to share this case called Villar´s nodule.

Perspectives

Endometriosis is a frequent disease, but the diagnosis take an average of 7-10 years of delay between the onset of simpthoms and the confirmation. I think the more we talk about Endometriosis, the more we will hep making this disease more known, in order to minimize the suffering time of the patients
