Featured Image
Why is it important?
this technique shortens the time frame required for orthodontic treatment. also, the forces required to move teeth are lesser in intensity
Perspectives
The surgical technique is simple to perform although one has to bear in mind the safety zones in maxilla and mandible. This can be accomplished by use of burs or piezoelectric unit. Most importantly, the patient can see visible change in a few days after surgery and the orthodontist can fine tune the position of teeth for correct alignment.
