What is it about?

Qualitative research is increasingly using software to speed up data collection and deepen its analysis. There is a recommendation in the literature that this use be made evident in the writing of research projects to make the process as clear, reliable and attractive to readers as possible, as well as more transparent and reliable. The aim of this article is to use NVivo 15 software to illustrate how its use can be made evident in qualitative research and how this evidence can be included in the report. It covers the creation of a project map, the different ways of importing word documents and some precautions to be taken in this process. It focuses on data exploration through the study of word frequency, the creation of a word cloud, the possibility of carrying out cluster analyses and coding matrices.
