Why is it important?

A good place for anyone to start since it condenses a lot of the scholarly literature and provides a good guide on specific topics.

Perspectives

Having already written a biography of Martin Luther King, it was interesting to write on JFK since it required me to place his domestic policies such as civil rights in the context of his preoccupations which were largely driven by the Cold War.
