What is it about?

This is a theoretical discussion of the interconnectedness of migration, regional integration and human security in their impact on the state; it seeks to demonstrate that migration flexibilises the state population, regional integration makes international state borders threadbare and human security provides for a competitive security-providing market and thereby reduces the unity of state governments. These are the elements of the standard triad of elements included in the definition of the state.
