What is it about?

This book chapter undertakes a comparative analysis of the UN Charter, the Refugee Convention, and the R2P doctrine. It establishes that although these frameworks exhibit coherent alignments in terms of protecting asylum seekers and refugees, they also harbour discrepancies and contradictions that raise concerns in grasping their normative importance. This is the first comparative analysis that considers the three frameworks simultaneously.
