What is it about?

To reduce the risk of foodborne infection among people with cancer during chemotherapy treatment, there is a need for targeted food safety information. However, existing UK resources provide inconsistent and insufficient information. This study explores the perceptions and preferences for future food safety interventions by evaluating examples of existing food safety information resources. The study identifies the preferred approaches to facilitate targeted food safety communication caregivers. Findings can be utilized to co-create targeted food safety interventions for chemotherapy patients and family caregivers.
