What is it about?

Residents of a large, urban city in the United States were surveyed about their beliefs and concerns over food handling and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most participants altered food handling practices during the COVID-19 pandemic which contradicted government guidelines. Participants with food insecurity engaged in more unsafe food handling behaviors and had greater concern over foodborne COVID-19 transmission.
