Why is it important?

Relation between intestinal flora and health conditions have been suggested but scientific reports were rare. Physiologically relevant blood test, shear-induced thrombosis test using non-anticoagulated blood was established. The relation above was investigated using the test and could show that antithrombotic effect is governed by intestinal flora varieties.

Perspectives

To prevent stroke and heart attack, intake of antithrombotic fruit and vegetable varieties plus keeping good intestinal flora is important.
