Why is it important?
Wearing most complicated extra oral face mask is found to be very difficult for young childrens. Where as modified Tandem Appliance ( MTA) , made the work simple and produce results equivalent to extra oral traction.
Perspectives
Young kids found it more difficult to wear and sleep with conventional face mask. After started using Modified Tandem Appliance, difficulty reduced for childrens and obviously improved the quality of results.
