The formulation was obtained in the search for the optimal percentage of the fibers and by adopting as a criterion the handling of the concrete for the optimum dosage retained in fibers, the influence of the fibers on the mechanical behavior of the concrete such as the resistance to compression, tensile strength and flexural strength.

Why is it important?

The results of this study have highlighted the reduction of plastic waste in the environment for an improvement of the mechanical properties of concrete as well as the concrete bond strength is improved and the cracks in the concrete decrease the use of fibers and reduce plastic waste.
