• We presented the simulation results of the major 2G thin film solar cells: a-Si:H, CdTe, and CIGS simultaneously for the first time • We optimized the active absorber layer thickness for the solar cells • Simultaneously compared the output photovoltaic parameters of the cells

We’ve proposed novel and facilitated heterostructures for corresponding thin film solar cells. Present work provides key information for considering the trade-off between cost and performances among those cells.
