Voltage level control in distribution networks

What is it about?

This work is using Reactive power control to deal with the over-voltage problems in distribution networks with high penetration of photovoltaic system (e.g. solar rooftop systems)

Why is it important?

The emerging of solar rooftop systems can cause the voltage quality in the networks. The grid tied inverter of photovoltic system can support the reactive power into the network for preventing the over-voltage especially when the power generated by photovoltaic systems is higher than the load demand.
