What is it about?

The book (written in French, and drawing on much English-speaking drama research) examines Reza's ten plays for their depiction of various 'passions': love, sexual or filial, art, music, literature... It looks at all the techniques the dramaturg uses to represent a broad range of human foibles: humour, monologues/asides/tirades, mises en abyme, thin plots etc.
