What is it about?

There is a pressing need to identify, select, conserve and utilize ancient cacao varieties in farmers' fields in Trinidad and Tobago. These varieties may have contributed to the premium status of the cocoa produced in Trinidad and Tobago previously and must not be lost. This project was designed to address this need.
