What is it about?
This paper has discussed the design process of a low fidelity prototype based on a gender-based engagement model for a serious game. Moreover, the model validation of a low fidelity prototype using heuristic evaluation technique for the educational game is discussed

Why is it important?
The result that has shown in this paper has contributed to a validated gender-based engagement model for a serious game, which can be used to design and develop a serious game for females to engage them to study Computer science/ STEM subjects.
Perspectives
I hope that organizations, schools, and universities will use the validated model of this study, which may help to reduce the gap of female enrollment in Computer Science/STEM in many regions.
