What is it about?
In this work, we study the scale-up and control of the acrylamide polymerization process in solution modeling viscosity as a function of temperature and monomer concentration. This work finds applications in batch reactor control on plant production.

Why is it important?
The work focuses on macroscopical parameters that involve the sale-up process and control in industrial reactors. The resuts show that increasing the heat transfer areaincreases the efficiency of the polymerization process.
