We newly characterized new membrane microdomain where Trk neurotrophin receptor and innate immunity receptor, TLR4 (toll-like receptor4) are colocalized and working together on the plasma membrane of PC12 cells by an analgesic. This finding illustrated new molecular mechanisms for neuroprotection.
