Why is it important?
Phelipanche aegyptiaca is a parasitic weed all over the world, and no effective metod was developed. A very important characteristic is that the seeds won't germinate until host exist. Reducing the seeds bank seems a potential and perspective method. However, the menchanism of its germination is still unkown.
