What is it about?
The genetically defined DNA replication starting point(the origin of replication) serves for future cell division site. We present a model by which the newly replicated origin & membrane interaction mark the membrane site for septum formation prequisite for cell division.

Why is it important?
This membrane site labelling is essential for separation of two daughter chromosomes into separate spaces.
Perspectives
In furture, each step involved in this chromosome segregation process will be explained, identifying all elements with their precise action.
