What is it about?

Brazilian data on letter inversion by first-grade schoolchildren are analyzed. The results are surprising, and the authors believe they will be difficult to replicate. They do not contradict models based on intra-hemispheric transfer and letter orientation. The "best" model might result from a combination of the latter two.
