This item arises partly from from the Mueller correspondence project, based at at National Herbarium of Victoria, Melbourne, but involvg scholars from Australia, The UK and Germany. A short explanation of the project which is editing the surviving correspondence of Ferdinand von Mueller (1825-96) of the first Government botanist of Victoria (1853-1896). It also benefited from working on listing the archives of Walter Rothschild at he Natural History Museum, London.
