What is it about?
The BHC Ibuprofen Process won one of the earliest EPA/ ACS Presidential Green Chemistry Awards. This story tells the history of how it and many prior industrial "Green" inventions came to be MUCH earlier than most people understand. It also adds some philosophical perspectives about "Quality" and other inspirations for the invention and earlier "green" industrial inventions.
