What is it about?
Our study explores how different silage compositions, specifically maize stalk-Velvet bean and Cenchrus purpureus-Velvet bean, impact milk production and quality in Friesian cross cows. We found that cows fed maize stalk-Velvet bean silage produced significantly more milk, suggesting this approach could enhance dairy productivity and support farmers during dry seasons. We invite you to check out our findings and share your thoughts!
