What is it about?
We assessed the efficacy of commonly used acaricides against Ixodid ticks in South Omo, Ethiopia, finding that Deltamethrin and Amitraz showed significant oviposition control in both in vitro and in vivo tests. Our results suggest these acaricides can effectively manage tick infestations in livestock, but further field data is needed to confirm their effectiveness. We invite you to read our paper for more insights and discussion!
