What is it about?

This is a new straight a way method, to produce high surface area ZnO -SiO2 material. High surface area will promote this material to be employed for absorption/ adsorption / desorption reactions. These two compounds ZnO and Silica possess special properties. Combining the two compounds together will create more sites for reactions.

These two compounds ZnO and Silica possess special properties. Combining the two compounds together will create more sites for reactions. These sites will attract different compounds to be attached in this material to be removed from the environment.

Perspectives

This new facile method can be employed to produce more matrices of different compound with high surface area. New materials in the nanoscale will show new physical and chemical properties. These materials will be employed in reactions and in new applications.
