What is it about?
Surveys indicate that people believe digital health services benefit society, but usage in Indonesia is low, with e-pharmaceutical sales at just $0.42 billion of a $12 billion market. Limited trust in quality, privacy, and security hinders adoption.

Why is it important?
The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) can be improved by adding more variables. Trust is a key factor that influences attitudes related to usage intention (TAM) and purchase intention (TPB). To find effective strategies, it's crucial to conduct factor analysis. Specifically, it is vital to consider perceived risk as an independent variable for health products, since a higher perceived risk can significantly hinder the acceptance of digital health services in Indonesia compared to perceived value.
Perspectives
Digitization in healthcare is vital. E-pharmacy enhances access to medicines in remote areas, ensuring equitable and affordable healthcare for all.
