This study is about determine the relationships between knowledge levels, health-protective practices, and anxiety among nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Why is it important?

This study may determining the knowledge levels, health-protective practices, and anxiety levels of nurses who are struggling in the frontlines in the field of health during the pandemic period can make a great contribution to the management of different current epidemics and pandemics and future ones by showing the areas in which nurses need to be empowered.

Perspectives

Although all employees in the health system were affected in different ways during the pandemic period, the nurses' struggle with the pandemic was heavy. Nursing understanding and care perspective change according to cultures. In order to keep health systems stronger in future pandemics, societies should evaluate their own culture-specific nursing and care perspectives; and the physical, health and mental needs of nurses in the workplace and social life should not be ignored.
