Over recent years, most developing countries have faced a concerning rise in online harassment. This issue has been compounded by an increase in digital activity among young people during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Why is it important?
This research suggests that cyber harassment has been linked to a markedly increased risk for depression among students. As harassment occurs during a person's youth when feelings about oneself are shaky and easily influenced by negative interpersonal experiences, any kind of abuse should be considered a serious matter. Cyber harassment victims can also lead to anxiety, depression and even suicide. Hence to build a robust Ensemble Learning Model for Fine-Grained Detection and Classification of Online Harassment from Social Media Platforms.
