What is it about?

The application of magnetic soft robots is becoming increasingly widespread. We have prepared a magnetic mesh robot, which is a mixture of silicone and NdFeB particles. Two types of experiments were conducted on it, and corresponding mechanical analysis and simulation were conducted. There is good consistency between the experimental and simulation results.

Why is it important?

Magnetic field driven robots have a wide spectrum of applications in many areas, such as in biomedical experiment, surgical tools, aerospace and mechanical engineering. The findings of this article are beneficial to engineer new types of intelligent robots, as well as to put them in various industrial settings.


The magnetic mesh robot introduced in this article is inspired by the mesh structure. This idea is exciting, and turning it into reality is also enjoyable. I hope that through this article, people can be encouraged to innovate and try boldly.
