Why is it important?
This study shares educators' experiences in the hope that others can learn from their challenges and build on their successes in the new normal post-pandemic.
Perspectives
This collaborative article was challenging to construct as it was written entirely virtually, and only a few authors knew each other before the pandemic. It was humbling to hear of the experiences of the 12 participants interviewed, and despite the hardships, how caring academics went beyond the call of duty to look after struggling learners, to do their best to promote wellbeing alongside active engagement and learning.
