Do you know that five textbooks have written about the neck anterior-to-posterior (AP) pressure technique for neck/shoulder painful conditions? However, no one has described how to perform it safely in a video format.

Why is it important?

Based on previously published abstract work by Dr. Yung in cadavers, the supplemental video explains how to perform it to avoid massaging the carotid artery.

Perspectives

The distinctive feature of this technique includes the unique dosage of applying 10 seconds of AP pressures, followed by 10 seconds of rest. Repeating this cycle five times resulted in a small sympatho-inhibitory response.
