What is it about?

A low speed wind tunnel investigation was undertaken to document the effect of splitting the top of an annular wing and rotating around its lowest extremity to yield a wing composed of two circular arc wing sections. Wind tunnel data indicates a significant increase in efficiency is achievable from the resulting geometries.
