What is it about?
Flow asymmetry and unsteadiness in a linear aerospike nozzle is studied numerically for different NPRs from 3.1 to 20. Truncation of the full-length plug to 50% helped arrest the over-expansion shock at the tip of the base thereby reducing the asymmetry.
