What is it about?

Nowadays, the so-called time-of-flight (ToF) cameras are widely used, even in some smartphones. A characteristic feature of such cameras is that they allow obtaining not only regular flat images, but also 3D images. The article presents a technique for assessing the accuracy of measuring the current relative coordinates based on information from the ToF camera. The measurement accuracy is important for solving the problem of spacecraft rendezvous and docking control.
