What is it about?

In the quest for higher education, students with visual impairments are faced with numerous barriers. In this study we explore lived experiences of students at the University of Zambia to inform policy and practice.

Why is it important?

Given the urgent need to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal and particularly target number 4 on equitable quality education for All by 2030, this study makes a contribution to unearth challenges experienced by students with visual impairments as a means to providing practical solutions to their lived challenges.

Perspectives

A must read article given that it is written from the excluded students' perspective using a Hermeneutics Phenomenology approach.
