What is it about?
In a genetic study conducted using publicly available data from 921,908 participants and individual-level data from 92,532 participants from 14 observational studies, we found consistent evidence that LDLc lowering was associated with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes, and that body mass index partially mediated this effect.
