Gold Nanoparticles Regulate Tight Junctions and Improve Cetuximab Effect in Colon Cancer Cells

What is it about?

Colon cancer (CC) is the second cause of death among the different types of cancer worldwide. We show here that GNP-cetuximab increases cell death of invasive CC cells in relation to either cetuximab or GNP alone. Therefore, GNP can be used as drug carriers in order to increase the CC therapeutic efficiency.
