What is it about?

The functionalized core/shell nanofibrous scaffolds fabricated by coaxial electrospinning based on silk fibroin make them efficient for controlled releasing of VEGF in a persistent manner for the differentiation of MSCs into VSMCs and widely used as a vascular graft for clinical perspective for bypass surgery in vascular tissue engineering.
