What is it about?

To date, various methods have been developed to capture CTCs in peripheral blood, and some approaches for the detection of CTC in lung cancer have shown both high sensitivity and specificity. CTC analyses offer much promise as a real-time “liquid biopsy” for prognosis evaluation and therapy intervention in lung cancer.
